Lend A Hand

Please help to forward this email or put up at everywhere u can. Your kind efforts and assistance is much appreciated. As with the situation during most recessions, these are the times when the stray dogs and cats needs us most.



As most people might still donate to charity, but with the tightening of budgets and belts, most will donate to the human charities, as after all these are ONLY DOGS and CATS what.


AND, during recession times, the first thing that us HUMANS, do is to DUMP
the cats and dogs with recession often as a LAME reason. Without making much

efforts to rehome. TO start with many BUY animals without tot of expenses and

their future.

THESE animals did NOT ask to be born, they had NO SAY.

And they have to suffer because us humans, often decide with little thought to their

fate, to give them up??? So sinful!!

TRULY many are mere opportunists taking this as an EXCUSE to get rid of

what they now deem as a BURDEN and a NUISANCE & INCONVENIENCE.


REASON : Most that we rescued, were not given up due to unforseen

circumstances due to the recession BUT, are already Sick, Neglected in

POOR conditions, weak, suffering severe skin problem e.g. totally BALD and black with Mange, NOT toilet trained, NEVER WALKED tied for YEARS hence

the muscle atrophy in their crooked legs at only 5 years old,

with sad look in their eyes, often abused physically with their tail between their legs, their spirit broken.


Often, flea infested, with severe anaemia from tick fever.

And, WHAT did they do to deserve this??

ALL they ask for is a roof over their head, lots of love, and

a decent square meal, and a walk a day.

IF they are lucky, a weekly bath and brushing!!

Is that too much to ASK , from a person who decided to take in a dog or cat???



MANY people have forgotten that, in developed countries, majority of the strays -

their sad plight is caused by US, HUMANS thru our lack of commitment, greed, irresponsibility.

Often the reasons are very LAME.

And often "ITS AN EXPLANATION BUT ITS NOT AN EXCUSE!!"



Not trying to make this a religious push but I always remember the phrase

"ALL CREATURES GREAT AND SMALL, AND THE LORD GOD

MADE THEM ALL"


So, what makes us the ones to judge and say that we are better than them, and

therefore we DESERVE priority.

WHEN the love and loyalty we get from them are ALWAYS TOTALLY UNCONDITIONAL!! ;o)

Which cant always be said of us HUMANS !!!LOL!!! ;o)


We simply "SIAMMM" - Avoid the awkward issue, and resort to the OSTRICH

syndrome, and pretend this problem is not caused by us human OR it does not exist.

Or, at least - often said - to salve ones conscience by saying - "NOTHING TO DO

WITH ME DIRECTLY, ITS NOT MY FAULT. I DID NOT DO ALL THE ABOVE MENTION"


And the ones who DARE to bring it up, are very passionate, but are deemed and seen as "TOO EXTREME and OVER BOARD". Well, some of us has to be.

Otherwise, whats going to happen to these poor souls who CANNOT speak up and

tell us where it hurts and WHO DUMPED or ABUSED THEM, OR

USED THEM TO BE BRED FOR GREED & PURE PROFIT THEN DISPOSED OF ONCE

THEY ARE NO LONGER USEFUL!!!
