Finally have the time to sit down to update blog.......this semester is a killer...and we were told that next 3 semester will be worst!!!
This 2 weeks is supposed to be holiday but we still have to meet up for projects!!3 more projects to go and the standard for this year's presentation have to be better than last semester.No wonder all of the lecturers were telling us to enjoy our year 1 as its still holiday period.
Stress to the max.......time is always not enough!!Everything is tough tough tough.......

Used up 2 days of the holiday to paint the house.New colour...new start in 2012.

This new semester is very pack and tight......we now have 5 projects to do and two 500 words and one 100 word written assignments to complete....we have to call and meet lecturers very often.....
Not to mention 2 skills test coming too.....
Things are getting tough......very tough...we have to learn things that we have never seen before....

Wish us luck....We need loads of it now.....cant even rest at home after school....research and more research everyday.....
Sometimes i envy those classmates who are working as Enrolled nurses now......at least the work load is not that heavy as staff nurses.....
But for our future,we must Hang on!!!

Finally got our results today!!!
Thought that i will fail sociology.....but luckily i pass....with a C.....but its good enough......
1 dist,2A,2B,2C.....GPA3.14...
Now we must get ready for all year 2....more projects more tough subjects.......
we have 3 projects this sem,.....but next year we will have 5 or 6.......faint.....
But for now,its time to enjoy the holiday and enjoy!!!

Home is a place where you can come home after school/work and finally relax......
You don't have to live in a super big posh home......
Most importantly,you must have family members who will care and support each other.
My family is not super rich,does not live in a super posh house,don't drive a super posh car....
But i am glad that my family members are supportive,loving,caring and genuine.....

1 week of attachment went by....super stressful.....ok...everything about poly is stressful!!!!
2 more weeks to go....hang on......

Stress to the max!!

Today is the 2nd day of our attachment.Can really feel the difference between ITE and POLY attachment.
We really have to know our patient from top to toe.All the different medications and why they are having it....
different diagnosis and treatment needed.Its just the 2nd day and we have tons of homework.
Super stress....still have to think about sociology results coming out in a few weeks time......Hope that i can finish this 2.5 years course smoothly......
Looking forward to 17 sept for our first class BBQ.....16 sept the last day of attachment....just nice can celebrate on the 17!!


Hope that i can be like sponge bob.....absorb in all the knowledge and release it at work....we shall hang on and move forward together as a class.....

Finally finished all 5 papers...will start our 3 weeks attachment at TTSH...
Am so ready to fail sociology paper.....luckily got sub paper.....all of us did not do well......super tough!!

Today we just finished our 1st exam paper....pharmocology....damn hard....be glad that i pass...no more aiming of A.
4 more paper to go....one harder than another...what have i got myself into!!!!!!

Today shall relax one day,after that chiong all the way till exams.....the whole class is in the stress mode now.
We dont even dare to sleep at night.Even when we try to sleep,our brain cells is still active.Insomia!!

Got some NAtional day treats for Enen.Its my 1st time ordering from them.But definately not my last time.I will order from them every month...All their things are freshly made after you order.So you cant keep it for too long also cause no preservetives added.....

The cranberry youghurt muffin is so soft ...not like some backery's cake.Very hard.....for a moment i thought it was grapes!!!All owners should remember,no grapes for dogs!!This is cranberry

Its funny that we have just spend 4 months in school and we felt like we were there for years already!!!
Stress Stress Stress!!!
1 more sociology presentation and 1 GSM presentation....
Sociology is a killer...2nd time we showed her and its still wrong!!
3 more weeks to exams and brain is still half empty......ArGGGGG!!!!
Luckily classmates are all helpful........we shall hang on!!
Have already plan where to go for celebration after the last paper!!!!!!!!!

Happy Nurses Day

Today i was invited to ITE's nurses day celebration and at the same time to collect a award.
I've receive a best nursing student award from the school....funny why i got it cause there are definately people who are better than me..haha..
Ite's celebration is still the best.
I truely thank teachers and school for all the grooming.Without ite,i won't be in poly now.
Thanks for all the oversea learning trips.Its such a valuable experience.(^ ^)

I died today. You got tired of me and took me to the shelter. They were overcrowded and I drew an unlucky number. I am in a black plastic bag in a landfill now. Some other puppy will get the barely used leash you left. My collar was dirty and too small, but the lady took it off before she sent me to the Rainbow Bridge .

Would I still be at home if I hadn't chewed your shoe? I didn't know what it was, but it was leather, and it was on the floor. I was just playing. You forgot to get puppy toys.

Would I still be at home if I had been housebroken? Rubbing my nose in what I did only made me ashamed that I had to go at all. There are books and obedience teachers that would have taught you how to teach me to go to the door.

Would I still be at home if I hadn't brought fleas into the house? Without anti-flea medicine, I couldn't get them off of me after you left me in the yard for days.

Would I still be at home if I hadn't barked? I was only saying, "I'm scared, I'm lonely, I'm here, I'm here! I want to be your best friend."

Would I still be at home if I had made you happy? Hitting me didn't make me learn how.

Would I still be at home if you had taken the time to care for me and to teach manners to me? You didn't pay attention to me after the first week or so, but I spent all my time waiting for you to love me.

Today we finished our last skills test!!!Now we must concentrate on our 3 project presentation and next EXAMS!!!Exams dates are out....Stress to the max......Lots of things to squeeze into the little brain!!
Sat i will be going back to ITE for the best nursing student award and to celebrate nurses day with them...haha....

Went back to Mount Alvernia for feedback session last Sat....Can't wait to go back and work!!!
To work in mount A,you must really know your work well.....
You must be able to answer to patient's questions
You must learn how to talk tackfully...
You must be able to take scolding/teaching from doctors....
You must be able to take scolding/teaching from seniors...
Lastly,you must be able to take STRESS!!!
One wrong step you take and the whole hospital will know...haha

Did not know that staff nurses could be such a stressful job till we are in poly......
You must love the work to enjoy it....If not you will be dragging yourself to work everyday.
After the ordeal last month,i can truely understand how patient feel and really hope that i could provide them with the best comfort while they are staying with Mount Alvernia.....

Life is full of stress now....but overall still good because i am not alone....the whole class is very supportive of each other.....jia you!!hang on!!

Bought a air cleaner for home...Cleans and filter air...good for people with pets cause it traps hair and dander...just nice cause i will be getting my parrot soon.

Trust me,its hard to score A in poly.....but we are still trying our very best.

Nowadays i am just too busy to groom EnEn myself.Therefore other than spa treatment,i will let petopia do her full grooming also.
